Dear Pen Pal,

Knock knock on the decades

The littered letters hugged you

Knock on the casket

A mummy of you inside

Your blood seeping through the bandages(the jest)

They – saw you

(you, with no use for clothes)

Knocking

On the heart of one thought dead

a poet.
