by Đinh Trường Chinh, translation by Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

Waking up

mid the night

Rolling in a corner

head kicked in

Laying back down

dream bound for the bin

Tomorrow

all somewhat anew

a beer can

smashed

Drink then

The rest of my shadow

_____

Bật dậy

giữa bóng tối

Đá đầu mình lăn lóc

góc tường

Nằm xuống

vất giấc mơ vào thùng rác

Ngày mai

có thể mọi thứ được tái sinh

như một lon bia

bẹp dí

Tôi lại uống hết

bóng mình
