A WINDLESS AUTUMN AFTERNOON

.

Gone were the Caryota berries

A shrug of the shoulders, it’s fall

Shredded are the clouds at dusk

In the haziness up high

.

Dry leaves decaying by the fibre

Throats damp with sadness by the breath

Dull bird calls in the dying light

Made slurry the sunset

.

Chicks at their mother’s tail

Scurry hints of home

Crack riddled bare soles

Awaits still at every turn?

.

CHIỀU THU ĐỨNG GIÓ

.

Đùng đình đã rụng sạch

Buông tay thôi, mùa thu

Đám mây chiều đã rách

Trên từng cao mơ hồ

.

Lá khô từng thớ mục

Họng ẩm từng hơi buồn

Tiếng chim chiều rất đục

Làm nhòe một hoàng hôn

.

Gà con theo chân mẹ

Gợi về một cố hương

Gót chân trần nứt nẻ

Còn ngóng bao nẻo đường?

.
