the days are clouds of smoke hovering above the drifting clouds

a mug of coffee yearning for tropical sunlight

the nights are the wandering mists around my brewing exile

the night light tired waiting for the fortnight of moonlight

the day dreary

the nights lonely

an uncertain homeland, gone

now

I’m like a mole cricket

prodding and digging up the blameless earth

looking for relics of a tattered sail

lost somewhere on an abandoned island

in hints of the quintessential spring

with the breeding history of a thousand year

.

the afternoon horizon void of a storm

the brilliant sunlight, the fresh breeze, a time of one’s life

in a rush to step outside

the summer stroll

I’ve completely forgotten about them

my grave barely paid off

the late insurance fee.

557. bẤy giỜ

ngày là lắm khói thuốc lững lờ trên từng cụm mây trôi giạt

ly cà phê thèm từng vạt nắng nhiệt đới

đêm là biết bao nhiêu sương khói lẩn quẩn quanh men tha hương

ngọn đèn khuya mỏi mắt chờ bao kỳ trăng thượng tuần

ngày vẫn tiêu điều

đêm vẫn quạnh hiu

sông núi vẫn lắc lơ, biệt tích

bấy giờ

tôi như con dế nhủi

lủi thủi đào xới lắm nhúm đất vô tội

tìm kiếm di tích một cánh buồm rách tươm

thất lạc ở một đảo hoang

đánh hơi một con suối lý tưởng

có lịch sử của ngàn năm gây dựng nòi giống

.

chiều nay trời không kéo mưa

nắng tươi gió biếc hoa niên

vội bước ra đường

tản bộ một mùa hè

tôi quên mất mẹ nó

cái huyệt mộ

chưa kịp đóng tiền bảo hiểm.
