DALAT RAILWAY STATION

.

An old train

like a childhood dream

Every door is locked

.

The poet

on a virtual vessel

a lonely intangible tickle

(no one sells anymore)

.

November 2020

GA ĐÀ LẠT

.

Con tàu cũ

như ước mơ tuổi thơ

Mọi cánh cửa đều khoá

.

Kẻ làm thơ

đi trên con tàu ảo

tấm vé cô đơn cũng vô hình

(không còn ai bán)

NB. It’s my pleasure to introduce to you Lê Vĩnh Tài’s first translation from Vietnamese to English on #songngutaitram, a poem by Kim-Anh Bui

By Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

There's magic in translating a body of work from one language to another.
