Is my heart cursed
For every breath there is pain
There are beats

The skies hues of pink and purples
Dusted in thick clouds of grey
What may I find
past the haze?

Sown my own down pour
In the corners of eyes swells…
Silently on cheeks
Bathe in heat…

I cursed myself and so you might have felt the same.
I couldn’t stand my guilt and took a bath in shame.

No, I don’t know whether we ever met.
Couldn’t swear should I bet.

But sometimes it just feels as if I have met someone,
although my mind tells me, it can’t be,
my heart tells me, maybe it wasn’t me,
like the words are of someone long gone.

Only those who feel cursed,
those who feel the worst,
they have given a gift,
while their minds adrift.

In their heart a painful path is building up,
seeing all the darkness – giving up,
to break the curse and not fall beneath,
not backing down with quivering teeth.

From afar it seems you are better than I myself.
But would it matter should we end up on a shelf?

If anyone would take the curse, it might be me. ❤
