Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm, the poet and translator, born 1971 in Phu Nhuan, Saigon, Vietnam. The pharmacist currently lives and works
in Western Sydney, Australia.

Lê Vĩnh Tài, the Vietnamese poet and translator, born 1966 in Buon Ma Thuot, Daklak, Vietnam. The retired doctor is still a resident of the Western Highlands, an acclaimed businessman in Buon Ma Thuot.

Chú ong hút từng nhụy hoa

từng bụi bay trụi bay qua cánh đồng

phấn hoa phấn được đi chơi

từ em hoa lữ đến ơi hoa hồng

sightless and free bury me

falling fire resolving ashes free me 

free me from thee

.

chôn tôi trong đêm

bạn đã bị mù

cứ tha hồ chôn tôi

lửa đã tắt và tro tàn giải phóng tôi

phỏng dái tôi

ra khỏi bạn
