April
the sound of helicopters
now like vibrations
the phone in our pant pocket

a ray of noon light
like an arrow
flying

it’s not blurry
like the mark of a whip
skipping school long ago.
_____

tháng 4
âm thanh của những chiếc trực thăng
như bây giờ rung
túi quần điện thoại

tia nắng trưa
như mũi tên
bắn

nó không mờ
như vết roi
ngày xưa trốn học…

By Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm
