SUMMER ANTHEM

 

Pull your hair up high

Hot and humid is noon today

The tip of branches in sumptuous red blooms

The honey sunlight shimmering

Looking up through the well of the sky

The endless brilliant blue illustrious clouds

 

April wrapped blinding light

The flickering glimmer

A day ecstatic

The terrifying splendour

A dream state suspended

The silent brilliance resounded.

 

Em, dearest take a moment

Time is quietly burning

Easy and unhurried 

The easy lovesickness

The low fire simmering inebriation

The endless glittery delusions

 

The streets filled with light

The dawn green in foliage

The instant shade pulsating with the call of cicadas

Pleading frantically as though in the dark

A murky opening in every direction 

A jubilant wondrous dot of the sky.

 

On the other side of a daydream you’re dropped

Wandering for the whole time apart

After the amble passion

Oh (em)you’re the devil queen of summer

A land unfurling golden yellows out reaching all shores

The lonely falling silent teardrops. 

 

Just so casually so

A stupid heart

The ardent call of capacious imprisonment

The blood of the earth the cool flowers the warm smile

Behold the Sun sudden overflowing with magic

A thirsty sea blinded relentlessly singing in melancholy.

Em vén tóc cho cao

Trưa nay trời nồng nực

Đầu cành xa hoa đỏ trổ ngời

Óng ánh nắng mật

Ngửng trông giếng khơi tuyệt ngấn mây

Đáy biếc toả

 

Tháng tư chói lọi vây

Chập chùng lấp loá

Ngày nôn nả ngây

Diễm lệ kinh hoàng

Giấc chon von còn chưa rớt ngã

Rực rỡ im vang.

 

Này em dừng nghe

Thời gian lặng thiếp cháy

Thong thả thong thả

Tình si thong thả

Lửa đầm say đê mê

Long lanh ngút ảo

 

Trên phố xá bừng héo hon

Rạng um xanh cây cối

Trổi râm ran điệu ve sầu bôn chôn

Van vỉ như hớt hải mờ tối

Phương hướng nào cũng mở mông lung

Quýnh quáng đốm trời diệu vợi.

 

Thả em bên kia chiêm bao nghĩ thoáng

Rong suốt giải phân ly

Theo đam mê lững thững

Ô em quỷ mị mùa hè

Sông nước phơi vàng xoá bờ bến

Tịch mịch rơi hạt lệ quạnh không.

 

Thản nhiên thản nhiên thôi

Tim khờ dại

Ngục tù thênh thang đắm tiếng gọi

Máu thổ hoa ngầu thắm tươi cười

Kìa vầng dương trút rợp huyễn hoặc

Biển khô mù hát trầm vong khôn nguôi.
