Ukraine is not the whole world

way too big way too lonely

.

it’s small with all 

these fields of darkness and fear

.

even the darkness could talk

you can hear it crying

.

as though the darkness may turn into 

something of substance

they thought they were able to grab a hold of it

with their planes

and their fire rockets

.

this part of the map the world have abandoned 

this part of the world will have no resolution

where the fields have been decimated

where the alluvial dream 

through the rivers 

cut short 

.

but this is also a forest that not even the wolves could surpassed

in humanity’s eyes not the pupil

a grain of dust

weary of the wolves

living in a circle

drawn up for its own purpose

.

this is what has been noted by the poem

blood is not just a word

a part of the Ukrainian 

lexicon of forbearance

amidst the snow

.

people are burning

people are burning

people are dreaming

people are being surrounded

.

people are waking up

ukraine không phải là cả thế giới

quá rộng lớn và cô đơn 

.

nó bé nhỏ với những cánh đồng

bóng tối và sợ hãi 

.

ngay cả bóng tối cũng không im lặng

bạn nghe nó khóc 

.

như thể bóng tối sẽ biến thành một thứ gì đó

họ tưởng có thể nắm chặt nó 

trong tay 

bằng máy bay 

và tên lửa 

.

đây là góc bản đồ thế giới bị bỏ rơi

đây là một phần thế giới không có hồi kết

nơi những cánh đồng bị tàn phá 

những dòng sông bị chặn 

phù sa

.

nhưng đây cũng là khu rừng mà những con sói không thể vượt qua

trong mắt người không phải con ngươi 

mà là một hạt bụi 

nhìn những con sói 

sống trong một vòng tròn

vẽ ra cho chính nó 

.

đây là những gì bài thơ viết

máu 

không phải là chỉ là một từ vựng 

ukraine chịu đựng 

giữa tuyết rơi 

.

người đang cháy

người  đang chảy 

người đang mơ 

người đang bị bao vây

.

người đang thức dậy
