night

Krông Ana is crystal clear at the intersection

Krông Knô muddy

blood on one side the other tears

glancing over at the other side of the bank

bloodshot eyes in each fist full of sand

burying an image of arms wide open in feral grass

legs wide open closed in by the rain

your damp wet body, child

high are both of your hills

and the borough is a rat’s nest

..

May 2022

.

đêm ơi

nơi ngã ba Krông Ana trong veo

Krông Knô lờ đục

một bên máu một bên nước mắt

ngước nhìn bờ bên kia

mắt vốc lên từng nắm cát

đắp hình hài dang hai tay cỏ dại

dang hai chân mưa rào

thân thể ẩm ướt của em

hai ngọn đồi trên cao

và một khu nhà ổ chuột
