Đình Nguyên | Holding on (24)

January light viewed through a foreigner’s eyes
How many could attain such intimate moments
Rolling out the endlessly vast separation
Trapping our soul in earnest yearning each spring

Đình Nguyên | Thee leaving astride the night (22)

The south falling in autumn
Ears for distant sounds sitting by the moment
Hugging one’s shoulders on the verge of the day

Đình Nguyên | A whale’s ambition (3)

The noise
grew wings took flight
piercing
the Sun
opening
the door of time

Đình Nguyên | Undo the leather under armour (6)

Take a moment
lean into a place
rest

Wait for the falling star
this night

Đình Nguyên | Ask the rocks the heart of the earth (21)

A shimmering rendezvous at the tempest of heat
In waves of cool and warmth the delving limbs
Therein the Easter of countless lifetimes
The serendipitous rhythmic notes of spring

Đình Nguyên | Coffee (20)

Morning coffee
we
see
the coffee
in drops fell

Each coffee
drop
a tiny pair of eyes
opening up

Trương Anh Tú | A LOTUS PETAL YOUR LIPS (1)

May I kiss you please
The earth in such moments leaning
As I drank to the very last drop on your lips
The inebriation of the finest wine.

Đình Nguyên | Prayers (17)

The excruciating pain beneath all their scars
The sudden massacre by blood thirsting terrorist
Even after their death
they continued in their oblivion
why am I still in pain

Đình Nguyên | DUST (16)

Blinding dust everywhere
dust creeping into everything
no one could escape the clingy dust
no matter how clean it seeps in
an indescribable filth

Dust in our mouth, as soon as we open it
Dust in our eyes, it was impossible to see
Dust plugging our ears completely, soundless deaf
Dust clogging both nostrils impossible to breathe
Dust shattering instruments breaking the fingers of musicians
Dust the cause of swelling eyes, bleeding, chaffing those who want to safeguard justice
Dust covered everything in this country
