Lê Minh Chánh | April (7)

No one for a moment thought they would burn

Lê Minh Chánh | SHADES OF BLUE (6)

dreams
a lifetime lost
her holding onto a rock the colours of paradise
dreams drawn and sculptured with eyeliners
the cool hues on sallow yellow skin
her claiming to have seen the King’s vessel drifting in the sunlight

Lê Minh Chánh | INSOMNIA (5)

lining up are the memories
waiting to be called

a spot of amber fire in the night
burning like the eyes of a sad and skinny
abused dog

laughing at the awry bronze statues
wriggling in the dark gnawing at the night
the horde of rats hungry still

Lê Minh Chánh | THE CAFE WINTER (3)

the hovering ghost in the dark
departing from this world at their ends, the kind souls

a lingering thought void of sustainable footing

thrown upon the gate of Nirvana.

Lê Minh Chánh | THE HIGHWAY – ĐẠI LỘ (1)

frothy water lens drifting
the river of tar no longer recycling
an unconsolidated sadness
an unconsolidated loneliness
drooping shoulders off-kilter
upon the man’s cloak the dust clingy
